P.E.T.S (Primary Education Thinking Skills is a program that will be used dor 2nd grade students who are recommended by their teachers. These sessions will be facilitated by Mrs. Campbell, GATE Coordinator & Resource Teacher, and will focus on developing and honing critical thinking and higher order thinking skills for students who demonstrate prowess for advanced learning. Depending the skills being taught, groups will often change.

Additionally, students will be engaged in Jacobs Ladder Reading Comprehension tasks and advanced Math skills from "Math Rules".

CRITICAL THINKING SMALL GROUPS
"PETS™ (Primary Education Thinking Skills) is a systematized enrichment and diagnostic thinking skills program. Lessons are presented in convergent analysis, divergent synthesis, visual/spatial thinking, and evaluation, suitable for grades K-3. The program aligns to the higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy.
